As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at Emirates Engineering in London Heathrow, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks on Emirates aircraft in accordance with company procedures and regulations. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
In Aircraft Maintenance Engineer role you will:
Carry out maintenance certification of Emirates aircraft including total cabin maintenance to ensure the highest possible standards, for all system and passenger facilities.
Ensure compliance and observe safety procedures relating to fluid replenishment, aircraft refuelling and system changes as required.

Liaise with their Maintenance Control Centre in Dubai and other key stakeholders in the event of defects effecting the dispatch of the aircraft.
You will be accountable for a safe and on time dispatch of the flight, whilst supervising aircraft technicians and resolving any technical issues and cabin defects.
Participate and promote a safety culture to minimise accident and highlight and risks that could cause accidents or defects
Assist with the administration of the station including materials, handling equipment, and keeping all relevant documentation up to date, to ensure smooth running of the Heathrow station.
Support with AOG incidents and be flexible to travel to other stations in the region to support in times of disruption.
Qualification for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:
Type rated on at least one Emirates Aircraft type (ideally A380)
Have a UAE GCAA or be able to convert your existing licence
Have at least 5 years experience as a licensed aircraft engineer
Fully conversant with all relevant legislation relating to the handling of our aircraft
Be able to hold an airside pass and airside driving permit
You'll have an edge if:
You have a type rating on the A380 which is the main aircraft that serves London Heathrow
You have at least five years certifying experience
You can confidently lead and motivate a team
You upload evidence of your licence and endorsements/qualifications at the time of application
You upload evidence of your right to live and work in the UK at the time of application
