Aircraft Technician Job Qualifications & Experience

8+ Years Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent)
Experience in commercial aircraft maintenance environment with minimum 5 years of performing/approving/certifying structure repair works under a company/NAA regulatory approval.
Knowledge/Skills: - Vocational / National / Higher National Diploma or Apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved maintenance organisation. - OR Engineering Maintenance License UAE GCAA/ICAO Type II/EASA Part 66 license rated in B1.1, in addition to company approvals. - OR Holder of Emirates/Company structures approval and has completed additional OEM specialist training.

Fully conversant with Air Legislation and legal matters that relate to the operation and maintenance of aircraft to international standards.
Full fluency in English language, reading/writing/conversing.
