Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities
Line Maintenance is an operational critical section in Engineering Department that supports the Company’s brand and business by delivering a safe, reliable and cost-effective line maintenance service to Cathay Pacific Airways as well as their third party customers in the global network.
The Licensed Aircraft Engineer leads and supervises a team of Aircraft Technicians / Aircraft Mechanics in performing operational functions ensuring delivery of a safe and exceptionally reliable travel experience that supports our brand and business.
Responsible for:
Item 1 of 8,Lead a team of Aircraft Technicians / Aircraft Mechanics, supervise and certify routine and non-routine maintenance for Cathay Pacific Group and third party aircrafts meet the Company / Customer / Authority’s requirements and standards
Item 2 of 8,Coordinate with other operational teams to ensure delivery of a safe and exceptionally reliable travel experience to the customers
Item 3 of 8,Ensure compliance with local Occupational Health & Safety standards and regulations / guidelines
Item 4 of 8,Oversee the performance of the ground handling third party suppliers
Item 5 of 8,Execute the contingency plans and support ad hoc operational requirements such as diversions, charters, ad hoc aircraft type changes, major disruption recovery, etc.
Item 6 of 8,Ensure the availability, serviceability and cleanliness of station ground equipment, vehicles and facilities
Item 7 of 8,Perform station administration and ensure station documentations / passes are up-to-date and valid
Item 8 of 8,Perform local or overseas operational relief duties as required
Requirements for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
Item 1 of 4,B1 or B2 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (HKCAD or equivalent) with appropriate aircraft type endorsement
Item 2 of 4,Minimum 5 years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance environment
Item 3 of 4,Solid operational and technical knowledge
Item 4 of 4,Good communication and problem-solving skills
